Meena the name that everybody knows in the film industry not only in Tamil also in Telugu Malayalam Kannada and also in Hindi. She's one of the most experienced person of Tamil film industry, right from childhood she's acting till today. She started her career as child artist in the film Nenjangal in 1982, featuring Dr. Sivaji Ganesan in the lead.
It was Dr. Sivaji Ganesan who saw her in a birthday party and selected her for his film. Meena feels extremely proud of being discovered by this big legend.

Meena Durairaj got Engaged to Vidhyasagar.
The famous actress Meena atlast got engaged to Vidhyasagar, a software engineer from Bengaluru at a simple ceremony at the actress’s house in Chennai.
I guess her mother had found on Mr Right for her daughter at last.
Apart from her family members, close friends like actresses Sanghavi and Sridevi took part in the ceremonies. The wedding has been fixed for July 12 at Tirupathi and a grand reception has been planned in Chennai for the film fraternity on July 14.
Meena Durairaj started her career as a child artiste in Sivaji Ganesan’s Nenjangal in the year 1982 and did many movies including Anbulla Rajinikanth in the year 1984 where she was noticed for her acting skills. With En Rasavin Manasile in the year 1991 opposite Raj Kiran, she became a full fledged heroine. But it was Yejaman in the year 1993 with superstar Rajinikanth that catapulted her as a major heroine in the Tamil industry. She has acted with all the top heroes of Tamil including Kamal Haasan, Ajith Kumar, Parthibhan, Vijayakanth, Prabhu Deva, K.Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Arjun, Murali etc. She has to her credit, more than 150 films in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada besides Tamil. Later, she shifted her focus to the small screen and did a mega serial titled Lakshmi.
Currently, she is working on another serial aptly titled Kalyanam. She was appreciated for her role in the recently released Vijayakanth-starrer Mariyadhai. She will continue with her acting career even after marriage. But then, She would be choosier with her roles. Right now, Meena is busy with a Telugu film Vegamamba and a few serials.
