Malaiyur Mambattiyan to be remaked as Mambattiyan
The famous movie Malaiyur Mambattiyan is planned to be remaked. This old eighties movie was acted by Thyagarajan and Saritha, In the remaked version actor Prashant and Meera Jasmine is expected to do the film and it is directed by Prashant's father Thyagarajan himself.
Goundamani role is expected to be done by Vadivelu. Even Prakash Raj is there in this movie.
The crew is looking forward for someone who will appt for Jayamalin's role as Jayamalini stopped acting in film.
