Namitha the next super cop of Kollywood.

Namitha has donned the khaki dress to play a stern and unforgiving cop in the upcoming film ‘Deshadrohi’ which was launched at Annapoorna Studios in Hyderabad. The initial shot was canned on Namitha as she wielded the gun and gave some hot and chilling expressions to the camera. the film was originally written keeping in mind Vijayashanti as the heroine, the all time action heroine.
The Police gettup suits for Namitha, because this will have both glamour and action within same character, this film will be good opportunity for Namitha which will potray more of her character than glamour.
However, the project got delayed and Namitha was roped in to
play a police officer.

The fleshy beauty has been working out rigorously for her role and is learnt to have already shed as much as 9 kg. She plans to shed some more as the shooting progresses. She has also learnt martial arts for the role. Directed by K S Nageshwara Rao, the film has Shanti Chandra playing the male lead. The film will reportedly be shot in Ramoji Film City, Chennai, Delhi and Rajasthan
Vijayashanti is concidered as 'The Lady Superstar and also The Action Queen of Indian Cinema', her action films are as equal to any action hero.
Hope Namitha keeps the momentum throughout the film as Vijayashanti does it in her films. There might be much more expectation from Namitha than Vijayashanti because Namitha has more fans than Vijayashanti.
